Today In The Upper Cumberland: FEMA-SBA

Learn more about what disaster relief is available for the Putnam Co tornadoes.

This is the Hyder-Burks Pavilion – the disaster relief center for Putnam County. Yard signs pointing residents to state agencies, to FEMA. While this weekend our community’s focus has turned to the Coronavirus, we want to make sure that every victim of the tornado understands what services and assistance are available from the federal government. How do you get the help you need? What is the truth about that help? So we’ve come to Hyder-Burks today to get information from both FEMA, and the SBA. Call this a primer, of sorts, if your focus has been on other areas since the tornadoes struck.

Today In The Upper Cumberland airs each weekend as a way to introduce you to interesting people and subjects of interest to our community. Catch the show each Saturday morning at 6 on Rock 93-7, 106-9 Kicks Country, and at 8 on Lite Rock 95.9.

If you miss it Saturday, you can catch Today In The Upper Cumberland again, Sunday. The show airs Sunday morning at 7am on Rock 93-7 and News Talk 94.1/AM 1600, Sundays at Noon on News Talk 94.1/AM 1600, and Sunday night at 6pm on Lite Rock 95.9 and at 7pm on 106-9 Kicks Country.
