Randy Heady & Kevin Gunther on Jackson County’s 10 year Parks & Recreation plan.

Jackson County Commissioners last week approved a 10 year plan for the county’s parks and recreation activities. It includes not just the ideas of increasing opportunities for families and kids, but also using parks and recreation to increase tourism across the county. Today we go inside the plan, and how it was formulated with County Mayor Randy Heady, and landscape architect Kevin Gunther of Murfreesboro’s Ragan-Smith Firm – the group that aided the county in developing the plan.
