“Break-Up Beans” . . . Now You Can Dump Someone With a Plant

break up beanEven dumping someone on their Facebook wall on their birthday might be kinder than this.

There’s a new product called “Break-Up Beans” that’s kind of clever . . . but totally brutal.

Break-Up Beans are lima bean seeds that have a secret message etched into them with lasers. When you plant one, it takes about 10 days to grow. And when it does, that message is right there in big, clear letters on the beans.

The messages are things like, “It’s over” and “Let’s be friends.”

The plants can even grow up to 20 feet, which would make the message HUGE.

They cost $6.99 for a set of two beans. You can find them by Googling “break up beans.”

2015 CMT Awards Recap: The Best And The Worst

Carrie Underwood dominated last night’s “CMT Music Awards”. “Something In The Water” won Video of the Year and Best Female Video. And she shared Collaborative Video of the Year with Miranda Lambert for “Somethin’ Bad”.

She was even all over the opening monologue when cohosts Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow did a running gag about Erin’s obsession with her. She also killed it on the red carpet some three months after having a baby. (The proof is in the pic.)

The big musical opening featured LADY ANTEBELLUM and electronic dance music artist ZEDD. They did a mashup of Lady A’s “Long Stretch of Love” and Zedd’s “Beautiful Now”. The result? A lot of energy, which isn’t a bad way to start a show.

By the way, I didn’t expect much from Erin and Brittany, but they won me over. The chemistry was there and Brittany definitely has comedy chops. They did a pretty funny video where instead of an Uber car they took a “Guuber” . . . because it’s Nashville.

It featured Arnold Schwarzenegger, Alan Jackson, Steven Tyler, Tom Arnold, Justin Bieber, James Corden, and Rick Springfield. (Check it out here.)

Get More:

The CMTs are more about performances than awards, and several really stood out. It’s been 10 years since Reba performed on the CMTs and she rocked her song “Going Out Like That”.

Does the Zac Brown Band ever disappoint? No. They performed “Homegrown” and it was solid.

You know how Eric Church usually tears the room apart? Not this year. Instead, he did one better with a stripped-down performance of “Like A Wrecking Ball”.

Hands down the most entertaining performance of the night was Jake Owen who was lowered to the stage on an inflatable mattress to perform “Real Life”. At first it looked gimmicky but I was quickly swept away. It was just plain fun.

Get More:

Does every awards show have at least one uncomfortable moment? Kellie Pickler and Billy Ray Cyrus completely bombed trying to be funny while pimping their reality shows. I swear every single moment of the bit fell flat.

One last note: No disrespect to Carrie, but I believe Sierks Bently got robbed by not winning Video of Year for “Drunk On a Plane”. (You can check out the rest of last night’s performances on CMT.com.)

Here’s your complete list of last night’s winners . . .

• Video of the Year: “Something In The Water”, Carrie Underwood

• Male Video of the Year: “Play It Again”, Luke Bryan

• Female Video of the Year: “Something In The Water”, Carrie Underwood

• Group Video of the Year: “Bartender”, Lady Antebellum

• Duo Video of the Year: “Dirt”, Florida Georgia Line

• Collaborative Video of the Year: “Somethin’ Bad”, Miranda Lambert featuring Carrie Underwood

• CMT Performance of the Year: “Turn The Page” . . . Jason Aldean and Bob Seger on “CMT Crossroads”

• Breakthrough Video of the Year: “Leave The Night On”, Sam Hunt

How to Know a Guy is Interested When He’s Texting You

Remember when dating was as easy as picking up the phone, asking someone out, then meeting up? Now it’s a string of texts, hundreds of them, and every single one has the potential to torpedo everything.

A new survey found five stats about the way single guys text, and maybe they’ll help you figure out whether a guy is interested or not. Check ’em out . . .

1. Three-quarters of guys will text you within a few days of getting your number. Here’s how that breaks down: 25% will send a message that night . . . 48% do it within one or two days . . . and 4% do it right away to make sure you didn’t give them a fake number.

2. 90% will text you within two days of a first date if it went well.

3. 91% say they were confused about what a woman meant in one of her texts in just the past week.

4. If a guy uses EMOJI, it probably means he likes you. 67% of men who don’t normally use them will drop them in texts to a woman they’re interested in.

5. 55% of guys won’t send a second text if their first one doesn’t get a response.

There’s Now Sausage Filled With Jelly

I’m one of those freaks who puts jelly on a sausage biscuit… So I think this is a good idea!

37-year-old Liam Bennett of Garnant, Wales just created the newest unholy food hybrid. The “Dausage” . . . it combines a donut and a sausage.

But it might not be what you’re thinking. He took sausages and filled them with jam, like a jelly donut. So they’re not round, there’s no fried dough involved, no powdered sugar, no glaze, and no deep frying.

He’s got six flavors so far: pork with strawberry jam . . . pork and beef with custard . . . pork with leek and blackcurrant jam . . . chicken with raspberry jam . . . venison with strawberry custard . . . and veggie sausage with Primrose.

Liam says, quote, “There is always a bit of wariness to begin with, but “most people who have tried it have loved it.

He’s hitting some food festivals this summer, and launching a campaign on Kickstarter next month to raise money to put them into production.

The Average Woman Only Wears Something Seven Times

Chalk this up as yet another way that social media is ruining everything.

A new survey found the average woman only wears something seven times . . . here are the three main reasons why.

1. 14% of them say it’s because they don’t want pictures on Facebook or Instagram to show them repeating outfits.

2. They gained or lost weight.

3. And the last reason women leave stuff sitting in the closet . . . the clothes don’t look as good at home as they did at the store.

The survey also found the average woman spends about $1,200 on new clothes every year . . . and has about 66 things in her closet.

A Guy Dressed Up as His Girlfriend So He Could Take an Exam For Her

Now this is true love . . . risking international humiliation for the sake of your significant other.

A 17-year-old girl in Zhetisai, Kazakhstan had to take the Unified National Testing exam last week . . . you need to pass it to go to college. And she was beyond stressed.

So her 20-year-old boyfriend Ayan Zhademov wanted to help. Yeah, apparently they’re cool with that age difference over there.

Anyway, he stepped up to help big time . . . by DRESSING UP as her, to take the test in her place.

He put on a black wig, a white blouse, a gray skirt, white sandals, and some makeup, went to the testing center, and started taking the exam.

Unfortunately for him, one of the proctors thought he didn’t look enough like the photo on his girlfriend’s ID, and questioned him. He tried to speak in a high-pitched voice to impersonate her, but they saw right through it and busted him.

He got a $2,200 fine, and his girlfriend will have to wait until next year to take the test and go to college.

Women Who Wear Tight Jeans Are 12% More Confident and 9% Happier

Apparently putting on a pair of jeans that cuts off your circulation is great for you!  Mentally, that is.  If it requires a team to remove them, we’re a little worried what they’re doing to you physically.

A new survey found women who wear tight jeans instead of baggier jeans are 12% more confident, and 9% happier.  Of course, it’s probably not the jeans making them happy . . . it’s because they’re skinny enough to wear them.   But you get it.

The survey also weirdly found that women who wear tight jeans are more likely to take the aisle seat on a plane, and less likely to recycle.

All this tight jeans talk has me wanting hear Conway Twitty ” Tight Fittin’ Jeans”
