Ways To Stop Getting Shocked

Static electricity is everywhere… I can’t hide from it! I’m either getting shocked or shocking something or someone else.

So how do you stop it? Here are some helpful hints:

• Stop wearing rubber sole shoes, they trap the static then release just as the TV remote. Same goes for anything wool, its just as evil.
• Humidify your house, even just boiling a pot of water will help eradicate those little static monsters.
• Spraying carpets, floors, and chairs with an antistatic coating. Do it like Rambo so it will make you feel better
• Wearing metal-coated shoe soles (try alum. foil, but it’s slippery).. Ok.. That probably takes it to far.
