Today In The Upper Cumberland: Parenting

Members of The Stephens Center discuss parenting Today In The Upper Cumberland.

You hear it so often – “If only my kids came with instructions.” Parenting, it’s always been a challenge, but today, that challenge seems more daunting than ever. Kids face different things in every day life, but so do you. We examine parenting as we approach a new decade, and we get help from The Stephens Center. In its work to prevent child abuse across the Upper Cumberland, 30 years of doing that, The Stephens Center teaches parenting classes and works daily to help parents meet the challenges. Dawn Raines serves as Executive Director of The Stephens Center. Working alongside Dawn are Lisa McAfee and Carla Thompson.

Today In The Upper Cumberland airs each weekend as a way to introduce you to interesting people and subjects of interest to our community. Catch the show each Saturday morning at 6 on Rock 93-7, 106-9 Kicks Country, and at 8 on Lite Rock 95.9.

If you miss it Saturday, you can catch Today In The Upper Cumberland again, Sunday. The show airs Sunday morning at 7am on Rock 93-7 and News Talk 94.1/AM 1600, Sundays at Noon on News Talk 94.1/AM 1600, and Sunday night at 6pm on Lite Rock 95.9 and at 7pm on 106-9 Kicks Country.
