A new survey of 600 executives found the top 10 worst things people do on their resumes. Check ’em out . . .
1. Spelling and grammar mistakes.
2. Factual errors.
3. Having key information missing, like contact details or the dates you worked at a job.
4. It’s too long. Unfortunately, they didn’t get in to HOW long is too long.
5. It’s too informal or casual.
6. A bad font choice, layout, or other design issue.
7. Too much personal information.
8. It’s too short.
9. Listing irrelevant experience or education.
10. Including a photo.
