Celebrate the fourth with Cookeville’s Red White and Boom Celebration and other events happening all across the Upper Cumberland.

Friday July 1st

Smithville
Downtown
9am-10pm
The 45th Annual Fiddlers Jamboree and Crafts Festival features some 35 music and dance categories, streets of hand-made crafts, and plenty of food.

Saturday July 2nd

Byrdstown
Town Plaza, Across From Town Hall
4pm-10pm
Good old fashioned small town fun and games. Live music & one of the best fireworks displays around.
Doyle
Doyle Tennessee’s Ball Park, Off Mountain Street
Event begins at dusk.
Fireworks display will last about half an hour. You’re requested to bring your own lawn chairs.
Granville
Downtown Granville
12pm-5pm
An old fashioned 4th of July celebration.
Rock Island
Rock Island State Park
All Day.
Enjoy activities like crafts, tie dye, games, sand castle contests, and bicycle parades.
Silver Point
Edgar Evins State Park
All Day
Campsite decoration contest, judged both in daylight and dark. Additional judging considerations will be patriotic appropriateness, originality and attractiveness.

Sunday July 3rd

Livingston
Mitchell Creek Marina
Evening.
Enjoy free music and karaoke on Dale Hollow Lake, along with a free boat-in movie and “Rock the Dock 2016” fireworks display at dusk.
Spencer
Van Buren County Fairgrounds
Event begins at 7 pm.
It’s The 14th Annual Fireworks Show. Music by “Three Penny Nickel” at 7 pm, and fireworks at dusk. Free admission. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show.

Monday July 4th

Allons
Willow Grove Resort
Event begins at dusk.
Watch by land or by water one of the biggest fireworks displays over Dale Hollow Lake.
Crossville
Cumberland Mountain State Park
Event begins at 10 am.
Decorate your bike, vehicle, dog and yourself for the 7th Annual 4th of July Parade.
City of Crossville Centennial Park
Event begins at 5 pm.
Bring the kids out for concessions and inflatables at 5 pm, music at 6:30 pm and fireworks at 9 pm.
Lancaster
Mason Farm.
Event begins at 6 pm.
Watch the Lancaster Independence Day Parade beginning at 6 pm, with music at 7 pm, and a fireworks show to conclude the program at dark.
Livingston
First Baptist Church
Event begins at 5 pm.
Have dinner and enjoy live music, and then watch fireworks at dusk.
Monterey
Whittaker Park
All day
Stop by for a flea market, live music, and cookout and help raise money for the new playground equipment.
