Democrats defend Kamala Harris after “racist” tweet

The Democratic presidential candidates are in a highly-competitive race — but many of them are defending Sen. Kamala Harris after Donald Trump Jr. retweeted a conservative commentator who said that Sen. Harris was “not an American black” because her father was from Jamaica and her mother from India.
