“Rolling Stone” has put together a list of ‘The 40 Greatest TV Villains of All Time.’
They stuck with true adversarial villains, and didn’t include ‘antiheroes’ . . . like Don Draper from “Mad Men”, Walter White from “Breaking Bad”, and Tony Soprano from “The Sopranos”, because they’re central figures “who drive their own stories.”

1. Ben Linus from “Lost”. He was played by Michael Emerson.
2. Marlo Stanfield from “The Wire” . . . played by Jamie Hector.
3. Livia Soprano from “The Sopranos” . . . was played by Nancy Marchand.
