This happened at a school in Chengdu, China but I could for sure see it making its way over here.

A teacher at the University of Electronic Science and Technology is punishing students who are late by making them write 1,000 EMOJIS.

From the pictures, it looks like they have to draw the emoji and write its name next to it.
