This guy’s an idiot, but dammit . . . he’s also a patriot!!
A 22-year-old guy named Quinnlan O’Meara in Des Moines, Iowa was shooting off fireworks around 4:00 A.M. on Sunday. So the cops went to his place and saw him standing there . . . with a bunch of fireworks in his hand.
Only, fireworks are illegal in Iowa, so the cops told him they’d arrest him if he shot any more of them off. Then when they left . . . he immediately shot them off.
So the cops came back to arrest him. And he told them once he got out of jail, he was going to light another one, quote, “with a blunt in his mouth . . . because this is America.”
Then they told him they were going to give him a preliminary breathalyzer test, and he said he would take a preliminary go [eff] yourself test.
He was arrested and charged with using fireworks, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
