Women Who Wear Tight Jeans Are 12% More Confident and 9% Happier

Apparently putting on a pair of jeans that cuts off your circulation is great for you!  Mentally, that is.  If it requires a team to remove them, we’re a little worried what they’re doing to you physically.

A new survey found women who wear tight jeans instead of baggier jeans are 12% more confident, and 9% happier.  Of course, it’s probably not the jeans making them happy . . . it’s because they’re skinny enough to wear them.   But you get it.

The survey also weirdly found that women who wear tight jeans are more likely to take the aisle seat on a plane, and less likely to recycle.

Your New County Fair Food is . . . a Deep Fried Slim-Fast Bar

fried slim fast barAmerica’s fried food innovators have spent the past several decades trying to figure out how to make snacks even MORE unhealthy through deep frying. And from Twinkies to Oreos to Snickers bars, they’ve succeeded.

So what do you do when you run out of junk food to deep fry?

Apparently . . . this.

46-year-old “Chicken” Charlie Boghosian is a fried food legend, and every year he debuts new creations at the San Diego County Fair. This year, he’s come up with a deep-fried SLIM-FAST bar.

The Slim-Fast chewy chocolate bar is a snack for people who are dieting and clocks in around 200 calories. Charlie coats it in batter, deep fries it, and coats it in powdered sugar and chocolate . . . which adds about 500 calories.

He says he got the idea because he has been dieting on and off and would eat the Slim-Fast bars to replace meals. When he was brainstorming what new thing to fry this year, he picked it because, quote, “it was a total oxymoron.”

For what it’s worth, he says it’s delicious. Quote, “I honestly think this is better than my deep-fried Oreo, which is the thing I’m most famous for.”

They’ll be available at the San Diego County Fair, which runs through July 4th weekend.

Here’s the story from the Huffington Post.

You Spend $3,600 More a Year When You’re in a Relationship

Next time you’re home alone on a Saturday night lamenting the fact that you’re single and lonely, maybe this will cheer you up?

A new survey found people in relationships spend an average of $3,600 more per year EACH than single people.

The main things couples spend money on that single people don’t are meals at nicer restaurants and more vacations.

And surprisingly, people in relationships are MORE likely to spend money on looking good. Single people are actually less likely to have gym memberships or to buy expensive clothes.

80% of Women Tell a Lie Every Single Day, Versus 40% of Men

I’m not sure how valid this survey is. After all, when you’re asking people to be honest about how much they lie, aren’t you just asking for trouble? But here it is . . .

A new survey found 80% of women say they tell at least one lie every single day . . . versus only 40% of men.

Of course, that could mean men were more likely to lie in this survey, which means women are more honest by ADMITTING they lie. We’re through the looking glass here, people.

The top five reasons people lie are: To avoid hurting someone’s feelings . . . to avoid getting in trouble . . . because “life is complicated” . . . to prove a point . . . and to save face.

And the five most common things people lie about are: Liking their friend’s cooking . . . their job . . . their salary . . . their weight . . . and their hobbies.

What’s the Worst Way Someone’s Ever Broken Up With You? Can It Beat Any Of These?

Getting dumped always feels a little like getting stabbed . . . so why do some people insist on also making it feel like you’re being hanged, drowned, and ripped apart by rabid wolves?

“Huffington Post” asked people to share the worst way someone had broken up with them. Here are the five best stories they got . . .

1. “I was dumped on the dance floor at my friend’s wedding.”

2. “It happened on the same day I put my family’s 14-year-old dog to sleep.”

3. “I was dumped on the plane ride home from our trip to Orlando because they ‘couldn’t bring themselves to dump me on Disney property.'”

4. “He did it on April 1st . . . so I wasn’t sure if it was an April Fools’ joke until the next day when he still stuck by it.”

5. “He arranged with his superintendent to stage a fire at his building to get me out . . . and then immediately started blocking my calls and texts once I was gone.”

Carrie Underwood slipped into her stretchy workout clothes and did her first post-baby photo shoot on Monday. The pics are for the fall line of her women’s fitness wear, “Calia by Carrie Underwood.”
