Dailey Bailey: You Can Make Fake Blood for Halloween with Four Ingredients

If you wanna up your Halloween game with some fake blood this year, you don’t have to go out and buy it. You can make buckets of it with just four ingredients that you might already have in your kitchen.

Here’s what you need . . .

Eight ounces of water . . . 16 ounces of powdered sugar . . . a one-ounce bottle of red food coloring . . . and a tablespoon of cocoa powder to make it a nice dark red.

That’ll almost fill a pitcher, so cut it down if you want to make less than that. But if you mix those four things together, you should end up with something that looks just as realistic as the stuff they sell at stores.

Plus it’s non-toxic, so you don’t have to worry about your kids eating it.

And even if you have to buy everything, it shouldn’t cost more than ten bucks to make.

Here’s a video of how to make it.

Dailey Bailey: [Watch] Leggings Ain’t Pants

It’s now a fact that leggings are nipping at the heels of jeans for the most popular outerwear for women, but not everyone thinks that they are a true replacement for a proper pair of pants.
Jamie Higdon Randolph from Cleveland, Tennessee, has gained hundreds of thousands of fans after posting a sassy video message on Facebook directed at women who like to wear ‘leggins’ as pants, entitled simply Leggings Ain’t Pants‬.

Dailey Bailey: Here’s the Formula For a Perfect Night of Sleep

A new survey came up with the formula for a perfect night of sleep. Don’t worry . . . there’s no math required. Which is good, because I’m pretty sure the anxiety from forcing you to do math to sleep would lead to a bad night of sleep.

Here are all of the elements for the best possible night of sleep . . .

1. Go to bed at 10:37 P.M.

2. Use two pillows.

3. Use the thickest comforter you can buy.

4. Wear cotton pajamas.

5. Wear socks.

The survey also found people sleep an average of 40 minutes less from October through February than they do during warmer months.

Dailey Bailey: The Phrase “Politically Correct” Is No Longer Politically Correct

Our oversensitive culture is now a snake eating its own tail.

According to the Inclusive Excellence Center at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, it’s no longer politically correct to use the term “politically correct.”

Why?  They say it, quote, “has become a way to deflect, [and say] that people are being too ‘sensitive’ and police language.”  They didn’t propose an alternative term to use instead.

They also say the word “lame” should be eliminated because it, quote, “reduces the experiences of individuals living with physical disabilities to a punch line.”

Other words and phrases they don’t like include “third world,” since it implies some countries are inferior . . . “crazy,” since it’s offensive to people with mental illness . . . and “man up,” since it’s sexist.

Dailey Bailey: A New Teddy Bear Won’t Stop Playing “Happy Birthday” Until You Destroy It

This is a pretty solid prank gift to give someone. Because it seems so nice on the surface . . . but it’s really cruel underneath.

There’s a new teddy bear that plays “Happy Birthday” . . . but never stops. There’s literally no way to get the music to turn off unless you DESTROY the bear.

The guy who created it made the news in April with a greeting card that plays a birthday song until you destroy it. But the official “Happy Birthday” song was still protected by copyright law back then, so it was just a made-up song.

The bear is a better prank, because it sings the real Happy Birthday song. Plus, busting up a greeting card isn’t quite as complicated or potentially traumatic for someone as murdering a teddy bear.

It’s only on Kickstarter for now, but if they raise $7,500 they’ll go into production and ship next year.

You can get in on the early prices of $10 or $15 for a bear if you pledge soon. Just Google “annoying teddy bear” to find the link.

You can listen to the bear for three hours by watching “Testing annoying teddy bear” on YouTube.

Dailey Bailey: What Halloween Costume Does Each State Google More Than Anyone Else?

I like this study because it’s not about the most popular Halloween costume in each state . . . it’s about each state’s most unusual costume.

The real estate blog Estately.com analyzed Google searches for the past 11 years to figure out what Halloween costume each state looks up more than anyone else. Here are five highlights:

1. People in California search for “pregnant nun” costumes the most.

2. People in Wisconsin are the most likely to want to dress up as beer.

3. People in Illinois make the most searches for slutty pumpkin costumes.

4. People in New Jersey search for Snooki costumes more than anyone else Keep in mind, the data goes back 11 years, so that covers the whole “Jersey Shore” era. Plus women there already own everything they need for the costume. Hi-YO!

5. And people in South Dakota search for the phrase “costume ideas” more than anyone else.

And TENNESSEE:  Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Captain Hook, Elvis Presley

Dailey Bailey: Who Needs Back To The Future…. If You Just Concentrate, You Can See 10 Seconds Into the Future?

According to scientists at Northwestern University in Illinois, you have the ability to see into the future. You just need to try harder.

–Julia Mossbridge is a neuroscientist at Northwestern. She’s been reviewing more than three decades of studies and evidence on whether people have a sixth sense . . . or at least a little bit of ability to have premonitions. AND WE DO.

–Mossbridge says you can actually see TWO to TEN SECONDS into the future . . . you just have to CONCENTRATE on the messages your body is sending you.

–For example, let’s say you’re playing solitaire at work. You click off the game just a second before your boss walks around the corner. How did you know to do that?

–In studies, Mossbridge says people’s heart rate and the electrical measurements of their skin actually change in anticipation of something BAD. Like, for instance, your boss catching you.

–Your perceptions are heightened because of your fear. That heightens your senses and actually DOES give you a brief moment of being able to SENSE THE FUTURE. Mossbridge says the odds of that being random chance are 400 BILLION TO ONE.

Dailey Bailey: 34% of Women Have Secretly Thrown Out a Guy’s Clothes

I think we know what happened to those t-shirts you can’t find, bro. You know . . . the ones that said “FBI: Female Body Inspector.”

According to a new survey, 34% of women admit they’ve secretly thrown out some of their boyfriend or husband’s clothes.

There are two main reasons. One, to get rid of them so he’d stop wearing them. And two, to free up more closet space for themselves.

Check out four other things they found . . .

1. When couples share a closet, women take up the majority of it. Shocker, I know.

2. 20% of couples have fought over closet space.

3. 5% are in a fight about it right now.

4. And one-third of women have spread their clothes into the other closets in the house.

Dailey Bailey: Ten Things That Aren’t As Good As They Used to Be . . . and Ten That Are Better

A new survey asked grandparents to name things that aren’t as good as they used to be . . . and some things that are actually better today.

The top 10 things that have gone downhill are: Manners . . . crime . . . the country overall . . . a sense of community . . . music . . . sports . . . banking . . . transportation . . . the weather . . . and movies.

The top 10 things that have improved are: Computers . . . cars . . . food . . . shopping . . . healthcare . . . quality of life . . . TV . . . the radio (you’re welcome) . . . transportation . . . and banking.

Yes, transportation and banking made both lists. Give them a break. They’re old.

The survey also asked them what the best inventions in modern life are. The top 10 are email . . . digital photography . . . the Internet . . . Google . . . cheap travel . . . HD TV . . . DVDs . . . remote controls . . . GPS . . . and streaming video services.
