This week, thousands of California residents have been watching nature threaten their homes and families. The wildfires around Los Angeles…just another reminder of the dangers that local governments must be ready for. And we’ve seen plenty of those in 2017. How prepared are we in the Upper Cumberland for the unexpected? Weather? Natural disaster? Something criminal? A plane crash. A major gas leak or chemical spill.

MADD of the Upper Cumberland is holding a candlelight vigil Sunday Nov. 19th at 3pm at First Christian Church in Cookeville. Norris & Aline Skelley with MADD join Sheila Scruggs to discuss how the vigil helps the victims and families of drunk driving accidents.
