3 still missing after U.S. Navy plane goes down in the Pacific

According to initial reports, the plane suffered a rare twin-engine failure 575 miles south of Okinawa, near the end of a routine run out to the USS Ronald Reagan. The fact that eight aboard survived suggests the pilot was able to make a controlled landing in the water. David Martin reports. Source

Ex-USA Gymnastics doctor pleads guilty to sexual assault

In a Michigan courtroom Wednesday, former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting seven girls, most of them gymnasts. Nassar told his victims he is sorry. Olympian Aly Raisman, one of his accusers, criticized the court for referring to Nassar as a doctor. Jericka Duncan reports. Source

Roy Moore’s communications director resigns

Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore’s communications director, John Rogers, has resigned. The campaign says he made the decision last Friday, and it had nothing to do with the sexual misconduct allegations against Moore. NYC preps for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Dozens of larger-than-life balloons will float down Fifth Avenue in New York before Americans sit down for turkey and stuffing on Thursday. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is expected to draw tens of thousands of onlookers from across the country. David Cassidy, “Partridge Family” star, dies at 67

The entertainment world is mourning David Cassidy, a Grammy-nominated singer and Emmy-nominated actor who was music royalty in the 1970s and ’80s. Cassidy died Tuesday at age 67. He had dementia and had been hospitalized in Florida with organ failure. Anthony Mason reports. Source
