Bronx teacher honored with 2018 Grammy Music Educator Award

Music teacher Melissa Salguero has been named the winner of this year’s Grammy Music Educator Award. Salguero started her career in South Florida before heading to the South Bronx to re-launch a music program that ended 30 years ago. When she arrived at P.S. 48, there was no school song, instruments or even a mascot. Michelle Miller reports. Source

Sen. Cory Booker on protecting special counsel, immigration proposal

Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, joins “CBS This Morning” from Capitol Hill to discuss a report that says President Trump ordered the firing of special counsel Robert Mueller.
