Valley Fire: Third worst in California history

Less than one month ago, residents of Middletown, California were driven from their homes as a wildfire raced through their community. Half of the town burned down in what was named “Valley Fire.” It was the third worst in California history, but thanks to the heroic efforts of firefighters, many lives were saved. Lawmakers push for more control on drones

As of September 27th, the federal aviation administration logged 920 reports of drone sightings this year, most coming from commercial or general aviation pilots. Federal data shows California having more close calls than any other state. Lawmakers are working to launch an offensive so drones can fly safely with planes and helicopters. Ben Tracy reports.
