The Dish: Chef Sam Hazen

Sam Hazen has known he wanted to be a chef since he was in the third grade. He grew up in the restaurant business, working in his father’s restaurant, and in a number of prominent kitchens, before launching the famed Tao restaurants. He’s now the culinary director of B.R. Guest, where he oversees five seafood locations, including Atlantic Grill, Blue Fin and Blue Water Grill. Source

Saturday Sessions: Brett Dennen sings “Cassidy”

The northern California native first burst onto the music scene back in 2004 with the release of his self-titled debut CD. His catchy folk tunes soon became a staple on many primetime TV dramas and motion picture soundtracks. Just last week, Dennen released his sixth full-length studio album, entitled “Por Favor,” and it’s already shot to number one on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart. Dennen joined “CBS This Morning: Saturday” to perform “Cassidy.” Source

If you were going to invest now in your future self, what would you focus on? One of the world’s longest running health studies sought to find the answer. The Harvard study of adult development began in 1938. It followed two groups of young men, some from inner city Boston and others who studied at Harvard. Their lives gave researchers evidence that our relationships with others keep us happy and healthy. Dr. Robert Waldinger, the fourth director of the study, joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss the findings. Source
