President George H. W. Bush and wife recovering in Houston

Former President George H. W. Bush is resting comfortably in a Houston hospital. The 92-year-old is stable in the intensive care unit. A family spokesman says he has been battling pneumonia. His wife, 91-year-old Barbara Bush, is also in the hospital as a precaution. Omar Villafranca reports. Source

Obama takes questions in final White House news conference

In his last news conference in the White House, President Obama left reporters with a message of hope, as well as a warning for his successor. Composer Jon Batiste on Best Original Score Oscar win for “Soul”

Jon Batiste is best known as the musical director for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” but now, he adds Oscar winner to his resume. Batiste, along with Nine Inch Nails members Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor, picked up the Academy Award for Best Original Score for the film “Soul.” Batiste joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss the win.
