The Lufkin Police Department in Texas released a video of a woman stealing one of its SUVs. After being arrested, she slipped her handcuffs off, got behind the wheel and drove away. That led to a high speed chase that reached 100 mph. Source

Historic La Tuna fire rips through 7,000 acres as it nears L.A.
The largest wildfire in Los Angeles County history continues to burn, with more than 1,000 firefighters trying to control the flames. The La Tuna fire has charred more than 7,000 acres since Friday and is moving closer to L.A. Jamie Yuccas reports. Source
Parts of Houston dry out as others face new flooding threats
Parts of Houston are bracing for more flooding Monday — 10 days after Harvey made landfall. Debris from the storm lines roads throughout the city, at least 46 people are dead and nearly 6,800 homes are destroyed. People are under a mandatory evacuation order in parts of west Houston, where two swollen reservoirs are a threat to homes. Michelle Miller reports. Source
