David Cassidy, “Partridge Family” star, dies at 67

The entertainment world is mourning David Cassidy, a Grammy-nominated singer and Emmy-nominated actor who was music royalty in the 1970s and ’80s. Cassidy died Tuesday at age 67. He had dementia and had been hospitalized in Florida with organ failure. Anthony Mason reports. Source

Charles Manson, killer and cult leader, dead at 83

Maybe it was that look in Charles Manson’s eyes that convinced people to murder in his name. Vincent Bugliosi, who prosecuted and later wrote about Manson, called him “a metaphor for pure evil.” Manson died Sunday. He was 83. John Blackstone reports. Source
