Connecticut set to adopt new “baby bonds” program

Connecticut is expected to become the first state to introduce a “baby bonds” program. It will put $3,200 into a trust for each baby born into poverty, which they can access when they turn 18. Deadly shooting in Boston investigated as possible hate crime

Two people who were fatally shot near Boston over the weekend may have been targeted because they were Black, the district attorney said.
