Tedeschi Trucks Band makes their return to “Saturday Sessions.” Derek Trucks played with the legendary Allman Brothers Band, and for a time, Susan Tedeschi was their opening act. The two married but continued to lead separate bands until forming their own Grammy-winning group in 2010. Their latest release, the live album “Layla Revisited,” is a cover of the classic “Derek and the Dominos” album. Saturday Sessions: Lord Huron performs “I Lied”

Lord Huron’s band’s name came from frontman Ben Schneider’s love for his native Michigan. Now based in LA, the group earned wide acclaim with “The Night We Met,” the triple-platinum single from their second album. Their latest hit has just spent five weeks atop Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay chart. For this week’s Saturday Sessions, Lord Huron performs “I Lied,” from their just-released album “Long Lost.” Source

Biden presidency hits 6 month mark

Tuesday marks six months since President Biden’s inauguration. The president marked the occasion by meeting with his Cabinet members where he touted his administration’s response to the pandemic, noting deaths from COVID are down 90% compared to six months ago. CDC data also shows more than half of Americans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. But Mr. Biden also acknowledged his administration has some work to do on other issues.
