GOP governors express opposition to Biden vaccine mandates

Former President Bush warns of domestic extremism on 20th anniversary of 9/11

Former President George W. Bush warned of the similarities between domestic and international extremism in a speech marking the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Speaking from Shanksville, Pennsylvanias, where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed, Mr. Bush said that “violence that gathers within” is equally as dangerous as extremists abroad. Watch his remarks. Inside the U.S. efforts to process Afghan refugees in Doha, Qatar

The Taliban is unveiling its newly formed government just one day after claiming to have seized full control of Afghanistan. Militants were seen firing weapons into the air in Kabul on Tuesday in an effort to disperse hundreds of protesters from demonstrating in the streets. Polls close Tuesday in California’s recall election

Polls close Tuesday in California’s gubernatorial recall election. A total of 46 candidates are looking to unseat Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom. If more than 50% of voters approve the recall, the candidate with the most votes becomes governor.
