California’s first-of-its-kind task force on reparations for Black Americans has submitted its final recommendations to the state legislature. The 1,200-page report is the result of two years of work that looked at how the state can best atone for the impact of slavery and decades of racial discrimination. Speed dating and social clubs regain popularity

The company Eventbrite says attendance at “dating” or “singles” events rose by 63% during the first four months of 2023 — compared to the same time period in 2022.
