Video captures close call between jets at Colorado airport

New video released this week by the National Transportation Safety Board showed the pilot of a JetBlue flight taking off too quickly from the runway of Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Colorado last year to avoid a head-on collision with a plane that was landing. The JetBlue plane clipped its tail on the runway in the process. Source

Jury deliberates in defamation lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani

The jury in the civil defamation trial against former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has begun deliberations. Two former Fulton County, Georgia, election workers sued Giuliani, accusing him of making numerous false claims about the results of the 2020 election. Giuliani has already been found liable for defaming them. Source

U.S. presses Israel for timetable in its Gaza ground offensive

U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan was in Israel Thursday, asking Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a timeline on his country’s offensive on Hamas in Gaza. Two U.S. officials told CBS News that Israel’s current phase should be complete in two to three weeks, followed by lower levels of bombing for several months. The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said at least 18,000 people have been killed in Gaza since Oct. 7. Ramy Inocencio has more. Source

Multiple terror suspects, some linked to Hamas, arrested in Europe

Several terror suspects, some who authorities said had direct ties to Hamas, have been arrested in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. German officials said three suspects arrested there appeared to be planning possible attacks on Jewish targets in Europe. Charlie D’Agata has the latest. Source
