Mary Lou Retton making “remarkable” progress, family says

Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Mary Lou Retton, who has been in a Texas ICU battling a rare form of pneumonia, is showing “remarkable” progress, her family said in a statement to social media Saturday. A fundraiser to cover her medical bills has so far raised more than $400,000. Source
