Thousands of actors in film and television were finally able to return to work Thursday after their union, SAG-AFTRA, reached a deal with studios and streaming companies to end a strike that had lasted nearly four months. Several infants sickened in salmonella outbreak linked to pet food
At least six infants have contracted salmonella after they are believed to have come in contact with dog and cat food made by Texas-based Mid America Pet Food, federal officials said Thursday. The pet food has now been recalled. Source
Suspicious letters, some containing fentanyl, mailed to multiple election offices
More than a dozen letters containing a suspicious white powder, including some that tested positive for fentanyl, were sent to election offices in at least five states, local and federal authorities confirmed.
