Athens, Georgia, shaken by college student’s murder

The city of Athens, Georgia, is reeling following the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley, a nursing student at Augusta University whose body was found on the University of Georgia campus. Nikki Haley discusses her campaign’s future

Nikki Haley has yet to win a state primary or caucus in 2024, but she argues former President Trump’s failure to win by even larger margins against her should be a warning sign for Republicans. Manhattan DA seeks gag order in Trump criminal trial

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has requested a gag order for former President Trump ahead of his criminal trial, asking he be barred from commenting publicly about jurors, witnesses, court staff and DA staff. Meanwhile, a judge ruled an FBI informant accused of lying about President Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s ties to a Ukrainian energy company must remain jailed before his trial. Bodycam video from Lakewood Church shooting released

Police bodycam video from the shooting at celebrity pastor Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church earlier in February has been released. The shooter wounded one person and was shot and killed by off-duty police officers who were working as security. The shooter’s 7-year-old son was shot in the exchange of gunfire and remains in critical condition. Janet Shamlian has the latest. Source
