Gaza’s southern border crossing opens to evacuate some stranded foreign nationals

Gaza’s southern border with Egypt was opened Wednesday for the first time since the Israel-Hamas war broke out on Oct. 7, to allow about 500 foreign nationals to evacuate Gaza and allow some critically-injured Palestinians to get medical treatment in Egypt. Diplomatic sources told CBS News that the evacuations were negotiated by the U.S. and Qatar. Charlie D’Agata has the latest. Source
