Grand jury to consider criminal charges in Uvalde massacre, reports say
The Uvalde County district attorney has convened a grand jury to consider whether criminal charges should be brought in connection with the 2022 Uvalde school massacre which killed 19 elementary students and two teachers. It comes one day after the Justice Department released a nearly 600-page report that found numerous mistakes in the law enforcement response. Source
Grand jury indicts Alec Baldwin on new involuntary manslaughter charge in “Rust” shooting
For the second time, actor Alec Baldwin is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge for the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins which occurred on the New Mexico set of the Western movie “Rust.” Baldwin was indicted Friday by a grand jury.
