What you need to know about glyphosate, the cancer-linked chemical found in Cheerios

New tests reveal popular cereals and snacks could have potentially dangerous levels of the same chemical found in weed killer called glyphosate and some reports say it may cause cancer. Of the 21 General Mills products examined by the Environmental Working Group, the highest levels of glyphosate were found in Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch, which had more than five times what the advocacy group considers a safe level. Original Cheerios had more than four-and-a-half times what the group believes is a safe level. The products are considered safe under EPA standards. Comedian Ramy Youssef on the pressure of being “first”

Comedian Ramy Youssef is the star and co-creator of the popular series “Ramy” on Hulu. It follows a young, practicing Muslim-American as he navigates everything from family pressures to dating. The New York Times called it “a quietly revolutionary comedy.” His first HBO comedy special is called “Ramy Youssef: Feelings.” Youssef joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss how he dealt with the pressure of being first. Hope Solo says “planned goal celebrations” by U.S. women’s team were “unnecessary”

The U.S. women’s national soccer team is the heavy favorite to repeat as champions in this year’s World Cup in France, but it’s off to a controversial start. The team faces backlash from soccer fans around the world for celebrating each goal in a 13-0 opening win over Thailand this week. Former team member Hope Solo says she understands the criticism. Solo, who was the team’s goalkeeper for three World Cups, joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss why it’s OK to celebrate goals but there is a “time and place” for “choreographed celebrations.” Source
