About 40,000 people are waking up without power in Nashville this morning after severe storms swept through the area. Several tornado warnings were issued as winds up to 80 mph uprooted trees, ripped roofs off homes, and tore down power lines. Nine people killed in Hawaii plane crash
“All nine people aboard a twin-engine plane were killed when their aircraft went down near Dillingham Airfield on the north shore of the island of Oahu. The plane burst into flames when it hit the ground.
It had been used in a sky diving flight. The Honolulu fire chief says family members of those on board were nearby, and most likely saw the plane go down. ” Source
