Track star Mary Cain alleges physical and emotional abuse by Nike coach

Mary Cain, a world championship runner, is talking about the alleged abuse she endured at the hands of Nike and one of its former coaches, Alberto Salazar. Speaking to the New York Times, the track star who broke records left and right claims the system designed by Salazar and endorsed by Nike abused her physically and emotionally. Salazar denied the allegations, and Nike told CBS News in a statement the company “will launch an immediate investigation.” Source
