In 1980 almost 80% of clothing bought in America was made in this country. Today, it’s around 3%. But Bayard Winthrop, founder and CEO of the sportswear company American Giant, is trying to turn that around, helping to rebuild an infrastructure and workforce to manufacture clothing that proudly bears the “Made in U.S.A.” label. 6 dead in mass shooting in Texas

A terrifying chain of events was triggered by a traffic stop Saturday in the heart of Texas’ oil country. A man pulled over by state troopers opened fire and fled, and later hijacked a U.S. Postal Service truck, embarking on a shooting spree. At least 24 people were shot, six fatally.
