Winter storms affect millions of Americans traveling for the holidays

A powerful winter storm is expected to impact millions of Americans as it dumps snow, ice, and rain across the country this weekend. Warnings were posted for almost 2,000 miles from Arizona to the Great Lakes as the storm rumbles east. CDC reports high levels of flu activity in 25 states

The CDC reports that Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, New York City and 25 states now have “high” flu activity. Flu cases have jumped by more than a million in just one week to an estimated 4 and half million cases, and more than 2,000 people have died from the flu so far this season. Source
