Kobe Bryant memorial held at the Staples Center as family and celebrities pay tribute

Today at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the city that loved him like no other paid tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. Family, basketball legends, and celebrities united in a “Celebration of Life” memorial in the house that Kobe built. Harvey Weinstein to spend first night behind bars after conviction

Harvey Weinstein is spending his first night behind bars in New York City, after being convicted of rape and criminal sexual act for assaults on two women. Though he was acquitted of the most serious charges, “predatory sexual assault,” Weinstein, who is 67, could still face decades in prison. Coronavirus fears affect stock market

Coronavirus fears wiped out all of this year’s gains in the stock market. The Dow lost more than 1,000 points today, and the Nasdaq and S&P 500 also tanked. The number of cases of illness here in the U.S. shot up to 53 over the weekend, as dozens of sick passengers returned from that cruise ship in Japan. Mark Phillips reports. Source

Jussie Smollett continues to deny fabricating hate crime

Jussie Smollett is on the defensive again, as he fights off new charges that he lied to police and staged a hate crime.
