More than a week after President-elect Joe Biden was projected to win the 2020 election, Democratic lawmakers are still pushing the federal government to provide resources, office space and funding to his transition team. Congressman Gerry Connolly, a Virginia Democrat who chairs the House Subcommittee on Government Operations, told CBSN the head of the government’s General Services Administration hasn’t responded to lawmakers’ questions about why she hasn’t signed off on this key part of the transition process.
