One kiss transfers 80 million bacteria
The research comes out of the Micropia museum in Amsterdam, which puts germs on display so people can see what is happening inside their bodies. Samples from the tongues of partners revealed a 10 second kiss transfers an average of 80 million bacteria. Scientists say the more couples kiss, the more similar their saliva becomes.
