South Carolina shooting video is telling evidence in cop’s murder charge

South Carolina officials announced murder charges against white police officer Michael Slager just one hour after seeing a graphic video of him shooting a black man in the back. South Carolina officer charged with shooting unarmed black man

Warning: The video above contains graphic content. A white police officer was charged with murder Tuesday after a video surfaced showing him shooting Walter Scott, an apparently unarmed black man in South Carolina. Officer Michael Slager’s case is the latest in a series of racially-charged police shootings around the country. Obama defends Iran nuke deal as criticism grows

DOJ investigating possible pesticide poisoning of family on vacation

The Esmond family believes they were poisoned by a pesticide containing methyl bromide while on vacation in St. John. The unit below the one the family rented was recently fumigated by Terminix, according to Sea Glass Vacations. As Jericka Duncan reports, the U.S. Justice Department is now looking into allegations that the company used the dangerous chemical as a pesticide. Source

Jury to get case in Boston bombing trial

In closing arguments Monday prosecutors labeled Dzhokhar Tsarnaev as “bloodthirsty.” The 21-year-old is on trial for the bombings of the 2013 Boston Marathon. As Don Dahler reports, the jury will begin deliberating Tuesday morning. Source
