LAX chaos comes ends after security scare

More than 280 flights were delayed Sunday night and at least 27 were diverted over a security scare at Los Angeles International Airport. It turned out to be a false alarm, but panic spread like wildfire through the airport as well as on social media. Mireya Villarreal reports. Source

Chicago’s most violent month in 20 years

Chicago leaders are calling for change after more gun violence plagued the city this past weekend. Two men arrested in the shooting death of Nykea Aldridge, a cousin of NBA star Dwyane Wade, had each been convicted of gun charges. One was released from prison less than two weeks ago. The Met Breuer museum opens with unfinished works

It’s a new face for one of the nation’s largest and oldest art museums. New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art has opened a new space, the Met Breuer, and is hosting an exhibition of artworks that were – intentionally or not – left unfinished. The show features 200 pieces from the Renaissance through today, from artists including Da Vinci, Cezanne and Warhol. Anna Werner reports. Source
