A Guy Steals a Goat as Part of His Elaborate Prom Proposal, and Gets Arrested

17-year-old Jacob Michels of Milton, Georgia wanted to ask a girl to prom with a big spectacle . . . so he and his friends snuck into a guy’s yard on Saturday night to steal his GOAT.

Jacob’s plan was to take the goat over to the girl’s house and say, “Would you goat with me to prom?”  And I’m sure he planned on having his buddies film it and put it on YouTube so it could go viral.

But the cops showed up while the guys were trying to load the goat into their truck and they were arrested for misdemeanor livestock theft.

There’s no word on whether Jacob wound up asking the girl to prom without a goat or some other prop.
