Paramount Global, owner of CBS News, to merge with Skydance Media

Paramount Global, the owner of CBS News, has made a multibillion-dollar deal to merge with the film production company Skydance Media. To make that possible, Skydance is buying another company, National Amusements, controlled by Shari Redstone, which owns the largest share of Paramount Global. Source
