The legacy of Donald Triplett, the first person diagnosed with autism

Donald Triplett — the first person to be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder — died last week at the age of 89. Triplett had an enormous influence on the treatment and study of autism. Journalists Caren Zucker and John Donvan produced a documentary about Triplett’s life and joined CBS News to discuss his legacy. Source
