Supreme Court to hear arguments on Texas abortion law

The U.S. Supreme Court will take up procedural challenges to Texas’ controversial abortion law on November 1. The conservative majority has decided to allow the law, banning most abortions after about six weeks, to remain in place while legal proceedings are underway.
