Trump names new acting director of national intelligence

President Trump named Joseph Maguire to replace Dan Coats as acting director of national intelligence. Maguire’s nomination follows the withdrawal of Mr. Trump’s original pick, Rep. John Ratcliffe of Texas, who wthdrew his name following media scrutiny over his qualifications for the role. Source
