Dailey Bailey: 17% of Men Would Date a Convicted Murderer, and Eight Other Crazy Stats

I get that it can be tough to meet someone good to date, but I feel like if you’re so desperate that you’re willing to go out with a convicted murderer, maybe it’s time to just retire to a life with your cats.

A new survey on dating dealbreakers found people are willing to overlook a lot more than we would’ve guessed.

17% of men and 10% of women say they’d date someone who was convicted of murder. 3% of men and 2% of women would do it no questions asked. 14% of men and 8% of women would need a good explanation. Yes, for the murder.

Here are some more results from the survey . . .

1. 16% of men and 12% of women would date someone convicted of attempted murder. Yes, that means men are slightly more willing to date someone who succeeded in murder than someone who tried but failed. No one likes a quitter.

2. 32% of men and 23% of women would date someone who’s married.

3. 38% of men and 26% of women would date someone who posted homophobic or racist things on social media.

4. 46% of men and 32% of women would date someone convicted of public nudity.

5. 49% of men and 47% of women would date someone who posted photos of themselves getting hammered on social media.

6. 58% of men and 42% of women would date someone who posted sexually suggestive photos on social media.

7. 58% of men and 48% of women would date someone with a DUI.

8. And 58% of men and 52% of women would date someone who was convicted of marijuana possession.
