This is a pretty solid prank gift to give someone. Because it seems so nice on the surface . . . but it’s really cruel underneath.
There’s a new teddy bear that plays “Happy Birthday” . . . but never stops. There’s literally no way to get the music to turn off unless you DESTROY the bear.
The guy who created it made the news in April with a greeting card that plays a birthday song until you destroy it. But the official “Happy Birthday” song was still protected by copyright law back then, so it was just a made-up song.
The bear is a better prank, because it sings the real Happy Birthday song. Plus, busting up a greeting card isn’t quite as complicated or potentially traumatic for someone as murdering a teddy bear.
It’s only on Kickstarter for now, but if they raise $7,500 they’ll go into production and ship next year.
You can get in on the early prices of $10 or $15 for a bear if you pledge soon. Just Google “annoying teddy bear” to find the link.
You can listen to the bear for three hours by watching “Testing annoying teddy bear” on YouTube.
