2 Union soldiers receive posthumous Medal of Honor for daring Civil War train theft

Union soldiers Philip Shadrach and George Wilson were posthumously honored Wednesday by President Biden with the Medal of Honor for their courage in the “Great Locomotive Chase,” in which they went deep behind Confederate lines and stole a train in Marietta, Georgia.
