You’ve never seen a water slide quite like this – 1,000 feet of water fun right in the middle of downtown Cookeville. Get ready to Slide The City this Fourth Of July presented by Crossfit Mayhem and 106-9 Kicks Country.
Broad Street….from the Courthouse to Dogwood Park will be transformed into the biggest water party of the summer. It’s your chance to be a kid all over again and celebrate the Fourth Of July.
Slide The City operates Friday from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday from Noon to 6pm.
Slide The City is open to anyone five years of age or older who is also at least 46 inches tall. For the smaller kids not able to slide, be sure to check out the bouncies available near Dogwood Park.
Be sure to bring something inflatable to float on and wear the sunscreen. Begin the Slide The City process at the Registration Area located at the bottom of Broad Street, between Borden’s Jewelry and Outdoor Experience. This area is for both pre-registrations as well as day-of purchases. Save yourself a hike and begin your experience at the bottom of Broad Street.
Slide options include a single-slider pass, a triple-slider pass good for three rides at anytime during the day, and an Unlimited Slide Pass. This slide pass offers you as many rides as you can take including special VIP only hours Saturday. The slide will open at 10am for two hours Saturday of VIP-only access and will be open 6pm-7pm for VIP riders only.
All three slide options may be purchased in advance by clicking here or you can purchase day of at the registration area located at the bottom of Broad Street. Cash and credit cards will be accepted on-site.
Key Reminders As Your Slide The City:
- You must be at least five years old AND at least 46 inches tall to slide.
- Three lanes will be open for sliders: little children at least 46 inches tall, groups, solo riders of any age and size.
- Be sure to bring your tube or something inflatable to float on – so you will be ready to go. The Slide The City team will have tubes for sell as well.
